“Mark Graindorge was recommended to me by a close family member, after he had completed a full redecoration of their property.
From our first point of contact, Mark took time to listen and understand my needs, and offer suggestions/hints and tips for the refurbishment of my bungalow. He is extremely efficient and arrived the day before he was due to start with all his tools and equipment etc. having also sourced the paint and materials, so he was ready to get started without interruption the following morning.
Preparation is key, and Mark paid great attention to that, in particular filling cracks/gaps, treating (prior to painting) areas of the walls that appeared to have suffered from poor circulation (damp), and in two bedrooms floor to ceiling wardrobes had been recently removed, which had left a mess along the ceiling which he repaired and now can’t be seen!. He also successfully repaired (filled and sanded) some skirting boards which had also been damaged. Mark has a fantastic vacuum gadget that attaches to his sander so all the mess from sanding is vacuumed away as he works – that was a huge bonus for me!
I found Mark to be honest, professional, hardworking and extremely considerate that he was working in someone else’s home. He went to great lengths to keep everywhere as neat and tidy as possible, covering all floor areas daily, and tidying away every evening. He is highly competent and his workmanship is excellent, and on a personal level, he was an absolute pleasure to be working alongside within the home. He took on a rather depressing project, but in a very few days he gave me back a lovely bright and light bungalow – I can’t thank him enough!”. Carolyne W.
